Third time's a mystery

They're all variations on the same theme. A chain? An architect recycling a good idea? Or something else?

Doesn't appear to have been a chain; all look to be rental storefronts.

I've wondered many times what those were; there is even another one further west on Devon in Park Ridge.

I guess you're right. I knew it was somewhere in Park Ridge; I must have be thinking of something else that was on Devon.

I love that one on Bryn Mawr, I work just a few blocks from there. Great pictures!

I'm guessing that it was just a developer who built the same thing over and over, much like today. Or someone copied something that they liked and was successful....
